Deciding to use drugs is a decision thousands of young people face every day. In fact, 25,000 North American teens try drugs or alcohol daily for the first time. These are not impersonal statistics - your child or someone near and dear to you will be influenced to, or coerced into trying, marijuana by their first year of high school or even earlier. Many cannot or will not resist, and the results could be devastating.

We Transform Lives by helping teens avoid the lure of drugs through inspirational and educational high school seminars and workshops. As a registered Canadian charity, we are dedicated to the elimination of youth substance abuse, and, since 2004, have reached hundreds of thousands of teens across the country. By providing the best possible preventative measures, strategies and programs, we increase student/educator/parent participation in realizing this goal.

Alvin Powell's Powerful Anti-Drug Message has been shared with youth across Canada, arming them with the truth about substance abuse so they can make the right decisions when they find themselves in the wrong situations. As our spokesperson, Alvin garners a lot of street credibility as both a recovered addict and a former NFL linebacker and bodyguard to the stars, not to mention an actor in several movie roles. Alvin uses his unique gifts and communication skills to connect with teens, work with young addicts individually or in small groups, and help their families deal with or avoid the devastation of substance abuse.
